THE CARL FROCH-GEORGE GROVES rematch looks set to break boxing betting records according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies anticipate that the fight could generate turnover surging past the million pound mark to never before seen levels as a result of the venue, their rivalry and the close nature of the betting, which currently just favours Carl Froch at 8/13 with George Groves 11/8.
The record for the biggest fight in boxing betting history is currently held by Mayweather - Hatton with Haye's defeat of Valeuv another bout to have whipped fight fans into a frenzy in recent years.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "Everything looks set for this fight to smash boxing betting records. The venue coupled with their rivalry and the loyalty of their fanbases means that we expect it to be our busiest ever night."
